Millennial pink has crept into our lives. A range of pink shades from blush to pink grapefruit. Rose quartz was the Pantone colour of 2016 and now Pale Dogwood is the colour of 2017. Chances are you've seen it 20 times today, our phones are rose gold, fashion has been loving it and pink flamingos are universal.
Is it in our consciousness, are we wanting to expose ourselves to a colour that brings us calm.
In the interiors world at the moment there is not much that you can't buy in pink - for example sofa, taps, tiles, chairs and so on.
It is the colour of love and works really well in the bedroom. If you are concerned about the "girlyness" add a touch of charcoal or grey to the room.
Paint colours are available in a wide range of pink. Use it sparingly, paint a chair, stool or even your front door!
The current pink is androgynous, worn and used by all and I haven't met anyone that doesn't like it, well not yet anyway......
